I had to make a tool to remove the spanner nuts that hold the hammer assemblies together but other than that it is pretty straight forward.

I started with finding a nut driver with the inside dimensions being large enough to allow the hammer strut to just fit inside and than had to reduce the outer dimension to just fit inside the hammer strut channel and then lastly filed the end of the driver to have two nibs to go into the strut nut slots.

Have used it to disassemble 3 NIDs so far.
