simcgunner Sidelock Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 76 virginia	I believe Manton and Co. records were destroyed in India. (eaten by ants). About the best you can do is date by proof marks. Their Guns were sourced in Birmingham and their better guns were sent through the London proof house. Many of their London proofed sidelock guns are outstanding guns.
