This is how not to layout a stock blank for a restocking job. On a 42 it just looks like trash. A decent classic pup gun deserves decent stock. Also that toe looks like it will chip just sitting in a safe. Angel of the toe on the recoil pad is wrong. And who needs that recoil pad on a .410? This stock does not match the original for end in any way. If I owned this gun the first thing I would do is take that stock off and put it where it truly belong. The fireplace.
