So does EU Belgium-unelected-central control-aristocratic-socialist-bureaucracy still run UK now? Wonder how that's going to play out? That was the reason British voters opted OUT, right? Yes I should have said 1898 or earlier. Uk are still in a transition period and under EU law without any say !Your lovely Mrs Pelosi is now waving the big stick at our Government who are trying to do the right thing for our country ,threatening no USA trade deal ,unless we cowtow to the EU.

The new export rules for EU countries are now requiring many(I believe anything that takes available ammo) antiques to have have an export permit, this combined with the Royal Post's position to not handle "guns" of any type effectively ends any short of low dollar way of getting antiques to the States.
It is now a cumbersome process and Covid has driven the cost of moving freight internationally substantially higher. I am still able to bring things in but more red tape seems to be added constantly. How about that EUU form where you swear on your mother's life you will not turn your old percussion scattergun into a nuclear weapon? Some of the regulations are truly mind boggling.

Antique like pre 1898 maybe?
Exactly. Too quick to post, too little comprehension there Geo. In the US, it's not a gun. Awe, don't go all legal on me there. You are right of course about the quick post and the little comprehension. Problem is that "antique" means 1898 or earlier under the 1968 Gun Control Act to you and to me and to everyone else on this bulletin board, but to the rest of the entire world "antique" means at least 100 years old. The post just said antique which could confuse someone (like me)...Geo
