The new export rules for EU countries are now requiring many(I believe anything that takes available ammo) antiques to have have an export permit, this combined with the Royal Post's position to not handle "guns" of any type effectively ends any short of low dollar way of getting antiques to the States.

It is now a cumbersome process and Covid has driven the cost of moving freight internationally substantially higher. I am still able to bring things in but more red tape seems to be added constantly. How about that EUU form where you swear on your mother's life you will not turn your old percussion scattergun into a nuclear weapon? Some of the regulations are truly mind boggling.
