Lat night I finished a book written by T.R. jr. and Kermit Roosevelt titled "East of the Sun and West of the Moon." It was about a scientific hunting expidition through central Asia. The trip took place in the early 1920's.
My favorite texts are those written from say 1880-1930 involving the first white men to explore new areas and collect new game for scientific study. I particularly like stories taking place in interior Asia.
Trophy Room Books has a great selection of first editions. I don't buy them, but research titles there and then buy the (MUCH!) cheaper reprints.
