Thad Scotts gun by Green is an earlier and lower grade than mine.
Differences are as follows:The locks on my gun are bar action[ ie; Not back action plates.] The barrel under lugs do not protrude through the action.The action and lock plates are profusely engraved in rose and scroll.The barrels are of Whitworth steel.My gun features Green,s patent quadruple lock- up action as used on the early Purdey o/u,My gun is origional [Not done -up]. This all adds up to a Best quality gun.
