It turns out the Greek military trigger and trigger guard do not fit the 1924 Model. This rifle has a longer action than the previous ones, and it has beem lengthened to the rear. The result is that there isn't room for the parts to drop in. The trgger would need to shortened where the spring abuts the rear receiver wall, and the guard screw hole must be moved forward about .125". I haven't decided if I'll proceed with the replacement or not, but someone may want to know what it involves. Likve and learn.

Bill, If you decide to do something else, I will give you your money back for the military one. I happen to have a need for it. Let me know. Mike

Der Ami, I'm going to stay with the set triggers and shotgun guard. Do you want the trigger guard or the triggers? I'll send you either or both at no cost. Glad someone can use them.

Bill, First of all, thanks. I just need the trigger guard. When I get a chance to put everything together I will use double set triggers and I already have the triggers and kicker. I will cut the guard off and change to a shotgun guard. If You PM me, I will send my address. Mike

Bill, I know where there is a very reasonable 1905 for sale with a single trigger if interested. It appears to need some work though. I'm guessing the 1905 trigger would not fit the longer 1924 action either though.

fallschirmjaeger, Thanks, but I've finished the project using the original triggers and guard. I'll post some photos if I can get a hand at it.
