OP Carl Baird Sidelock Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 141 Likes: 7 Los Angeles	I'm restoring a nice vintage Syracuse shotgun and my smith said that after case coloring it, some of the engraving is kind of lost under the coloring. Is there a way to tone down the coloring so that the nicely done engraving will show up better. Snuffy
