I got brave and took the locks off my Thomas W. Perkes. Even better is the lock maker is stamped in them as Stanton & Son. They look good to me for being made sometime in the late 1870’s to early 1880’s. ![[Linked Image from ]]( https://i.imgur.com/aC3tTHj.jpg)

Two images to follow. The gun is a 12-b Boss sidelock non-ejector. It was built on the Perkes patent in 1886.
