Last week I picked up a Darne, Shotgun. 12 gauge, 2-3/4", choked
Full and Imp.Mod. It was listed as a R11, but it does not fit the discription of R11's that I have seen on the internet.
The barrels are 685 m/m (26 15/16 inches) swamped rib that is finely checkered. Pistol grip stock of French walnut, checkered.
It is a replacement and very well done, The action is engraved and finish in a french gray, bores are bright, no pits. The safety is located on the left side of the frame, It is a small
lever that rock back & forth. There is a gold inlayed F and S.
The barrel flats show a proof of PT under one crown.
Also it says: E. Jallas & co. (?)
