I am sure that black powder will always be available in one way or another because the use by industry and the military is not going to be reduced in the foreseeable future unless they go over to pyrodex. Though the strangest use for gunpowder was in large industrial and power generating station Fuses to speed up the increased size of fuse failure indicator, black powder is still heavily used in the mining of fancy stone Marble etc because it has a tendency not to shatter the stone too much. As we Brits are so fond of gun salutes for the Mo narcs birthdays and things the smell of Sulphur and the smoke from those WW 1 Field Guns will be sadly missed.


The only lessons in my life I truly did learn from where the ones I paid for!
