To put it simply. It’s lines, sleekness. They have a different look than your basic a & d boxlock and I like 16’s. A 16 will be my next gun. Only have one 16. Looking for another

While the guage certainly is not hurting anything, it is the fact that the gun is NOT your basic A&D boxlock but a Facile Princeps action that gives it those sleek lines. The action knuckle is reduced in profile because it does not need to house the cocking dogs, the hammers are cocked by a protrusion in the forward lump. Beautifully built guns. You do not see many top tang safety versions and way less in 16 bore but the hunt for the perfect gun is half the fun. Good luck in your search.
