My two cents. I own a few Lindners and have had lots of guns CCH’d to very good effect. On this gun, I’d leave the action as it is. It’s not that I’d be trying to retain original finishes…..I think that’s bullshit. But I do think that it would just look better with the refinished stock and freshly blued barrels. New CCH and the engraving will get somewhat lost.
