My lace on pad is a RedHead that I've had since I got the Super in 1963. They are the nicest lace-on I've found with no external seams. I've got a drawer full of others that were on various guns when I bought them, but none seem as nice to me. My Super-Fox has an original Jostam Anti-Flinch for a length-of-pull of 14 1/8 inch, but until dressed for late season cold I need the extra length.
The picture of Nash at the age of 68, holding two Geese at Tom Bash's "Lost Quarter" near Swan Lake Refuge, Missouri, shows (probably) Bo Whoop I with a lace-on pad. There is a good picture of Nash holding Bo Whoop I, with the ivory forearm tip missing, on page 262 of "Mr. Buck the Autobiography of Nash Buckingham."
Hopefully someone with a flat panel scanner can put these various available pictures of the Whoopster up so we can continue discussions.
