Oh yeah - I saw that, too. Odd, huh? I wonder why it's there. It's a small hole, too. It's not for the whole lump. I can't imagine they were using the adjustable-lump patent on that gun.
I'll have to dig up the other pics of Premier Imps that I have and see if they also have the hole.
Also, why would it be proofed for 1 1/8oz and have 2 3/4" chambers? That wasn't standard for back then. I wonder if it has been reproofed or if it is out of proof.
