I don't see re-proof, just a full regiment of marks with chamber dimensions as well as choke which may put it in the 1st decade of the 20th Century. But for sure pre-1922/1924.
I for one wouldn't mind seeing additional fotos.

Lambert & Bruyninck or possibly Lhermitte and Bruyninckx (but usually LB not L&B) http://littlegun.be/arme%20belge/artisans%20identifies%20l/a%20lhermitte%20and%20bruyninckx%20gb.htmProved 1910-1921 (no lettre annale) Barrel weight at the time of proof 1.333 Kg = 2.94#. If > 3% less now considered out of proof. Original bore 18.3 mm = .720mm L choke 17.3 mm = .681" = .039" = Full R 17.6 (or 17.8?) = .693" = .027" = Imp. Mod. 70 mm chambers

Drewbie- if there no specific letter designating the year between 1910-1921, would it not be problematic to exclude the span of years between 1914 and 1918, due to the First World War? I am running the risk of assumption here that the conflict may have, in some manner, changed things in the arms production of France and Belgium. Le Reynard!!

Salut, https://i.goopics.net/xnpymr.jpgTout seul et mal placé, mais n'est-ce tout de même pas la lettre annale ? Pierre Mounanes est recensé armurier dans les années 1920.

Merci FAB. Translation: All alone and badly placed, but is that not the year letter? Pierre Mounanes is known as a gun-maker in the 1920's.

It could be a greek alpha reclining, but that would be 1948. Lower case ' a' would be 1922, but I don't think so. I've never seen a lettre annale in that location nor that size, but maybe the first year of use the controllers didn't quite know the routine

That position is typically for the mark of mechanic that performed some effort on the tubeset. Regarding German proofmarks, on many non-Sauer longarms, a >>D<< will be found there.

Clearly pre-1924. Post-24 would have gauge and chamber length in one proofmark, which this gun does not have. Looks to me like another instance of a Paris gunshop importing a Belgian gun. There's no shortage of such examples.
