however, shot charge does directly affect both? ...

ah mean, the heavier the load, the more energy it takes to start pushing hit down the bore...

the more power applied, the higher the energy, which results in higher velocity...

and the more power applied, the higher the pressure, in a confined space, such as in a shotgun barrel?...
