Years ago, I had him repair my Henry Atkin Spring Opener. It had a broken left cocking spring. Like a Purdey spring. He kept it for a while and at times he was hard to get in touch with. He would always eventually return my calls. There was a guy here on the forum that lived close by and went over to see him from time to time.
He finally got the spring made and replaced. Said he would never fix another one.
He was a great guy and we had conversations when he would call me back and I got to hear a lot of his days at Churchill's.
He did have a web site at one time but cannot seem to find it now.
Good luck and let us know if you get in touch with him.
Oh I may have a copy of his bill in my stuff I saved for the Atkin.
