Hutton repaired an old English hammer gun for me many years ago. Told me it would take several months, which became two years. We spoke briefly initially but he did not respond to emails or phone messages as time wore on. I finally called Jack Rowe, who originally recommended him. I came home from work a few days later to see the message light flashing on the phone machine. Hutton left a message that said the gun was almost finished and I should have it in the next two weeks. UPS dropped it on my front stoop ten days later. Never had any interactions with him after that.
