I don't get involved much anymore in the shite flinging here. But offer the following:

I follow Reilly's sold at auction and in my database can pretty well tell what was sold where. It's not a bad reference point and certainly should be an academic plus much like Bob Noble's database.

So, I'm not sure the opprobrium smeared on Bob was appropriate. This is a free-swinging site...I've a thick skin and didn't mind hitting back until I realized it was troll-useless...but perhaps throttling back sometimes might be appropriate.
