I wish I could have hunted with my Grandfather who passed before we had the opportunity as my early years were far away from his California hunting grounds as my father pursued his Army career.

I wish I had brought one of several Purdeys I looked at in 1985 when I was a freshly commissioned 2LT and could not bring myself to spend the money. 38 years later I finally have a Purdey and a Boss, hunting with them for the last 38 years would have been better.

I still dream of starting my hunting season in Alaska on grouse in August, then working my way south as seasons open over time to culminate in November in Kansas. That will have to wait until I am truly retired.

I still dream of taking a wild boar with my Double Rifle; that can likely happen.

I wish I had not sold my Fox Sterlingworth BLNE 16 or my Francotte 20ga Knockabout.
