All, I have. 12 Gauge Browning BSS w/SN 104XXA37. Two screws in the floor plate, silver non-selective trigger. I can’t determine what year the gun was made. The Barrel stamping says “Made in Japan” on right barrel and on the left barrel “12 Gauge Special Steel 2 3/4”. On the Browning site there is a reference to 158 as a 12 gauge. Any thoughts? Thanks - doublenut.

Prior to alpha code, reverse the last 2 numbers. ...37 1973 I bought a 30 incher just a moment ago. 100% condition ...67 1976 ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/N777Uf6.jpg)

Unless I'm being fooled by camera angle, or something, my 30 incher doesn't have a safety shaped like yours, Bob.
I've never looked at the date codes on mine. May do so when I get ready to leave for work this morning.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

Good morning Stan. Trick of the light. If you look closely you can see the outside edges of the safety.
