Highly unlikely that there is any substantial number of wild birds on a tract of only 1,000 acres that releases and commercially hunts birds. Wild birds simply can’t handle the hunting pressure on a place that has hunters almost daily wanting to kills lots of birds throughout the season.
No problem having wild birds on 1,000 acres properly managed that carefully monitors and limits the hunting pressure.
Preserves can offer fun hunts; just gotta appreciate them for what they are.
