May God bless America and those who defend her.

I knew I could count on you Stan. Honest question, CZ. I've never been there.

More a Gin and tonic place Stan. Funny thing is we get so use to driving that a trip of 100 miles is nothing. If I got within 100 miles of Holt’s a week before a main sale and a sealed bid auction I’d have to go. I’ve looked at everything online for the next two sales and would love to see about 50 lots in person, some guns and some non guns. But then I might decide to bid on almost all of them. As it stands I’ll bid on about half and be lucky to win three to five lots.

FWIW, you can schedule a lesson at the West London Shooting School, and take a subway over. Then a taxi to the grounds. Easy to do, loads of fun.
The city center gun shops will be underwhelming.
You could have more fun at Harrod’s.
Out there doing it best I can.

Great idea Clapper I will put that on the to do list. Might get fitted for a shotgun and shoot a round of sporting clays. I will also see how long the trip is to Westly Richards from where we are staying. Thanks again for the input guys.

Francis Lovel of Witney in Oxfordshire has a good selection.
If you are in England at the end of July you may want to spend a day or two (or three) at the CLA Game Fair, Ragley Hall in Warwickshire held 28 to 30 July.
Many of the gunmakers you would want to speak to will have stands in Gunmakers Row .

Shoot sporting clays at Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds. I am not sure if the location is exactly the same, but I shot there about 15 years ago. It was about an hour outside of London by train and they provided everything. https://hollandandholland.com/shooting-grounds
