Having recently been less than positive about a vintage custom rifle, I will put my latest out there for better or worse.
I don't think it carries any pedigree or provenace, but I liked it well enough. As a lefty I have a soft spot for Savage who was the only one that gave us lefties a great option early on. I don't ususally care for the wood relief vs checkering ribbons, but it is what it was long before I go to it and I think it a respectable piece to harvest a deer with!

Nicely done. What kind of scope/mount is that? I don’t see any adjustment knobs.

There seems to be an elevation adjustment knob on the top of the rear ring, the windage is likely on the right side, where there is no photo. I guess Balvar for the scope, but don't recognize the make of the mounts.

Scope and mount look like a Weaver KV.

I agree, not my cup of tea, but respectable in any crowd. Savages get an undeserved derating for some reason.

As a left-hander I thoroughly approve, even though the stock carving is not what I would have personally chosen in place a chequering.

The thumb safety is handy.

The carving looks Germanic. I know that at one time Savage hooked up with Anschutz to offer joint productions. Are there any German proof marks?

The scope and mounts are "as speculated." Weaver stuff. 2.5-8 scope and both adjustments on the rear mount housing, with removabale caps over turrets. It will all go down the ebay road as I will likely replace it with period Savage branded Lyman Tru-lok mounts and a more compact scope.
I have not disassembled or futher inspected the rifle... and I will probably shoot it as is to see how it does before I change anything. Just for the easy factor.
