David Murry Jr. 23&1/2 David Street Brechin, Forfar Scotland c1900 . Most likely a retailer of guns amongst other things . Local history groups might have directories that could give more information

Suggest that you look for David Murray ,there is quite a bit of info on the net! Started with Playfair ,then set up shop in Stonehaven before moving to Brechin. Hth.

He is listed and a short article in Boothroyd's book 'Shotguns & Gunsmiths'. That's probably where you might have seen it. Lagopus.....

I have a 16 bore damascus barreled D Murray Jr. hammer gun. Boothroyd devotes a short chapter to Murray and the history of the firm. PM me if you would like a copy.
