So much talent, no more. I remember how I felt when I heard that engravers Lynton McKenzie and Lew Sanchez had passed, both of whom I had spent some time with. May they enjoy each other's company in a better place. RIP.

He had so much work, he didn’t take anymore. Bet there are a few souls that are going to be very disappointed at this news.

His animals and game scene were simply the best. I don’t care for either.

Unless Winston did them.

Godspeed.

Best,
Ted

Sad to hear this news. His work was stunning. Very few are capable of that level of artistic talent in such an unforgiving medium as steel.

I met him at a Vintager's event years ago and he was great to talk to. He had just come out with his grouse sculpture, which looked large in person, but he assured me it was lifesize and no more.

I had so much respect for what he accomplished, not that I would feel the need to carry one in the field. Well respected and did what he loved doing. What more could one ask for? RIP
