Where did Ed "learn" that all Superposeds were custom made guns? For more than 50 years, the Superposed was an off the shelf gun with added features available at extra cost. These added features were probably actually ordered for less than 1 percent of guns sold. OH, MY, I'm turning into an Ed.

bore: "did learn that each superposed was a custom job and were made with mostly hand labor...
whereas, citori maker utilizes much machine tooling in order to improve overall production process"...
one could argue there is a vast difference between the meaning of phrases custom job vs custom made...
particularly when viewed in context of what is posted above...
disappointed to discover you taking certain words out of context and then reposting them in an effort to change their meaning...
in the bronx this was referred too as..
"weaseling"...as in ah neva said dat...take hit back...
oh, an hit could be with two l's...
look it up and let us know and i will change hit jes fur youse...

I'll follow KY Jon's comparison with Mustangs but go with the 428CJ vs a grocery getter 302. The 12ga superposed lightning was 7lbs and a 20ga lightning 6lbs. Put a superposed next to a citori and handle both, enough said. Completely hand fitted parts and we haven't even discussed the graded guns, hand engraved not acid etched. Kinda like comparing an LC Smith, Fox or Parker to a CZ.

What's the difference between a Winchester Model 24 and a Winchester Model 21?, they look the same..... You are thinking of the Winchester model 23. This was a Japanese made guns in the 80’s that looked similar to the 21. The Winchester model 24 looks nothing like the the model 21. The model 24 was a lower budget affair and handles pretty clunky.
