az's post points out a major weakness in selling on line...that is, the inabilty for the buyer to see, touch and then thereby fall in love with the product...digital images do help, sorta like lookin at pitchers in ah girlie mag...and, it is difficult to negotiate price via remote control...once a deal is done, it then becomes a leap of faith on the part of the buyer and the seller to make it happen...

on the other hand, gls points out a major advantage of sellling via an internet based sales service...that is the hugh number of prospect exposures generated by on line activity...however, selling by remote control for top dollar requires sharply honed people skills...but the old truism still applies...people buy from people they like...and trust...
