I thought this was a good article to post on Labor Day here in the USA. This article makes it seem like the building trades unions in Australia are about the only group to fight against a proposed duck hunting ban. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the article; I just ran across it and thought this board might know more about the situation. It appears that the Aussie left is getting close to banning everything related to guns and hunting.

All I can say is hurray for the Aussie unions. I hope they strike and get everyone's attention. I read another article where they interviewed a government official and he seemed completely surprised by the union opposition. He said something to the effect that he couldn't understand why they would choose hunting as a "hill to die on." I can't think of a better place myself.
