Hello:

I need help regarding a recoil pad for a 1989 built 687 Silver Pigeon. The original brown vented rubber has degraded as the gun sat unfired for 20 years in a safe. My friend that sold it to me said it was a field grade so I contacted Stoeger, the Beretta distributor in Canada and they told me to order the black rubber field recoil pad. While the screw hole spacing and studs on the back of the pad lined up, the pad itself was about 3 mm to narrow and 2 mm too short. It was for a 128mm stock. Mine is 130mm by 44mm. Stoeger suggested that I have a sporting gun then and had me order a sporting pad (I got the trap version too to make sure at least 1 was correct). The trap was far too big, and while the sporting was the right diameter the screw holes were way off. The top was 22mm top of pad to centre and my current is 16mm.

I have enclosed a drawing of my pad with measurements and am hoping that maybe one of you have one that will work and would be willing to sell me?

Please let me know.

Pietro
