It is just this seeming conradiction that makes some of us total doubters and flatly unwilling to buy these expensive shotshells until we have some definitive information on their composition and hardness. MAYBE this "HeviShot" is a plastic + heavy metal powder mix, like Kent TM, which would make it quite different than normal HeviShot.

I never found much deformation on either Bi-Sn alloy or Kent TM pellets recovered from ducks and geese. I totally discount their comments about Bi-Sn, having used it quite successfully for the past 5 years. Actually, I find that Bi-Sn pellets perform much like really hard, Cu-plated Pb-Sb alloy shot.

I e-mailed the HeviShot folks many weeks ago with numberous questions, including actual hardness, chamber pressures, guns tested in, when would 16 gauge ammo be available, when would 65 or 67 mm ammo be available, etc. No answers. So, no buy.
