Why didn’t you correct any of the posters in your “poor me” post that called it a Springfield?

The problem is clearly understood to be a heat treatment issue that occurred in both Rock Island and Springfield produced model 1903 rifle actions. The experts simply refer to both guns as “Springfields”.

Weasels try to subdivide the guns, and leave out the part where they blew the gun up through negligence on their part.

Don’t they?
