Im not very familiar with them and found a gun of interest, its about a 1928-1935 vintage, its 12 bore,(12 C in a diamond) thu it does not have the actual barrel dimensions marked as I have seen on some. nitro proof I can tell, and doesnt seem to have choke indicated just stamped"choke" has a crown over each of these letters "Bp" "BV" "NP" any info is greatly appreciated Don

Don:
Standard Birmingham proofs around 1925. The word "Choke" was added if there was .008" choke or more. Are you certain of the 1928-1935 time?
Kind Regards,

Hey Jersey, better to miss and learn than get it and get screwed. Something else will come along that you "gotta Have" you can be sure.

Don, if the gun was from the 1904-1925 period, it would have the shot charge (1 oz, 1 1/8, etc). 1925-54 would add the chamber length in inches. No chamber length marking would make it an earlier gun.
