I have to agree, Steve W. and Paul S. are both incredibly knowledgeable on the subject stateside. That is a great book as well, although the training rifles are in a serial range outside of the rest of their commercial production it appears.

In addition to being Jewish owned, one of the reasons for hard feelings about Simson, I think, is because they were chosen after the Great War to build/rebuild arms for the limited military services that the treaty allowed. Their pre-WW2 reputation was always that they built high quality guns.
