I'm not so sure the Wolves would not have established themselves anyway, we had recently documented pups born in CO with no human help, they have been seen here for years. This is the same way Spring bear hunting and hunting Bears with dogs was banned, no science just Disney at the ballot box. Fast forward 20 plus years and we now have way too many Bears.
