A new pad for my Kimball/Skimin and Wood. Not too bad for an amateur. At least, I am happy with it. Another 1/2" of length, 1/2" of cast, and 1/8" of drop will probably cost some grouse their lives this year.

The original horn plate and engraved screws are saved and can be put back on anytime. A couple more of these pads and I might actually get half good at it.

Excellent job. I use pigskin as it tends to be tougher; that appears to be calf so it may be subject to abrasion. I see you did the plugs too, Great job. we learned to do those in Trinidad when we had the gunsmithing classes with Dennis Potter--about 100 years ago. Those were the days......
