Yet to me it was a wonderful day, it is one thing to want to finish a project and another to have someone to give the finished project too. It was great to get together with a friend that I don’t see that often and great to be shooting, even if it was watching my son shoot.

If you need another project, I bet the two of you could make a pistol loading stand. I do not have one, but I've seen guys make a little stand that sits on the bench holding the pistol muzzle up to make it easy to load with powder and ball. With that, he could probably load on his own with a little supervision.
