Mike Jensen here. This is the first time I have been on in a long time. I would like to state that I can not recall ever being rude to anyone about my pictures or a legitimate question, and my listings on GB will demonstrate that I have worked to improve my "hobby." pictures. Sorry if I have offended anyone with my auctions. Never the intent. I run a family business and a large ministry and collecting doubles is my hobby and kinda developed a life of its own. I am out of the country for about 2 months a year and do not collect anywhere full-time. 70% of my sales are not on Gunbroker. The retail prices regulate the number of sales. I can only handle about 3 or 4 a week. If a collector calls or emails and wants something I have for his collection, I discount until we make a deal we can both live with. Many times they come in person and I do have many repeat ongoing customers. I will do my best to come to a price with anyone. There is no benefit to me or anyone in misdescribing a gun and having to take it back. This costs goodwill, time and money. I just turned 65 and don't want to leave my wife and kids having to deal with my extensive collection, so you will see some of my auctions starting at a penny, and I just consigned a huge lot to an auction company. God Bless all of you and I apologize if I have offended anyone in any way. Life is too short for some of the comments I just read.
Blessings,
Mike Jensen
Nice article and superb guns and photography in that article.
Yes, life is too short for some of the commentary here. It is, however, more or less the norm. Just don't let them drag you down.
I do not drive through Olathe often, but the last time I did, I knew of your shop and thought about trying to get there in time to stop. Just did not work out.
