That may work for Jonny but it doesn't work for me. I cannot shoot a 5 lb. gun the same as I shoot an 8 - 9 lb. gun, regardless bore size. After many years of shooting doves and clays with a .410 I have to utilize a different swing technique. "Shoot it like a 12 bore" sounds good, but doesn't work out in real life. They don't swing the same at all, and require a different technique, IME.
