Alright I’ll throw this out there. What I’m looking for is a 16ga Sidelock. 28-29” barrels. POW grip preferably flat bottom as opposed to round grip. English is not out of the question. Close to a best gun as I can get. 6lb. Ish. Minimal cast since I’m a lefty. An English gun. Wood and engraving as an almost best gun should have. Most likely my last gun and hopefully better than my others. I know , livin in a pipe dream
( I saw this gun at the southern a few years ago but was a couple of grand short).
A 12 would also work if the weight is right. I believe anyone that has something close would be hesitant to sell.

See if anyone's got a 12 like this

I saw your request for a 16 gauge sidelock. As for sidelocks, I have a highest quality Lajot, a gunmaker of distinction. It has 28" barrels , invisible welded seam sleeved by John Foster [and gunman on the DGS board]. $3700 plus freight
Not sidelocks, but guns of highest [best] quality are--

Charles Daly, 16 ga, highest engraving coverage, boxlock. Fluid steel. $4000 plus postage

Hoffman Arms, 20 ga., boxlock [England sourced] , highest quality engraving by Rudolph Kornbrath, top condition, cast on for a lefty. Gold animals. The best found. 1924 manufacture. $7200 plus shipping.

Greener, Monarch Imperial , 16 gauge, [70 Guinea gun] , boxlock. Fully engraved with gold crown and scepter indicating the Imperial Grade, Whitworth barrels. $7900 plus shipping
