I know I got caught snoozing... Cheapest one I've ever seen... The buttstock looks misproportioned, but I think it's the camera angle as a few rifles they had listed appeared as goofy in similar photos.

True story

A little old lady, a woman of color, sat at a Hold'em table.
She had to be reminded by the dealer every time she was the Big Blind.
After several hours, a frustrated dealer finally addressed the "Big Blind" issue.

"Mrs. Johnson", he said.
"I will always remind you that you're the big blind. I will never ever forget when it's your blind.
When I'm not here, one of the other dealers will be here to remind you that it's your blind.
If you want to play then you have to pay. You will always pay the big blind when it's your turn
and I promise you, we will never skip your turn".

In a raspy voice, and so quietly the dealer had to stop and listen, the little old woman said,
"I can dream, can't I" ?

When it comes to $2400 Model 21's
"I can dream, can't I"

I would have taken that ride... Sure doesn't seem like much risk.
They sold a straight grip 20ga 21 last week for 3800 ish same genenral shape, config etc. I am surprised by both occurances.

I don't know what 21's are worth, but paying that much for a mediocre refinish seems a bit much. The seller's description of it being restored is a bit much too.

I got the link to come up by clicking on "YES". Lots of photos. I've owned 16ga 21s, all early guns (DT/extractor). Too heavy and not my cup of tea for hunting. But sometimes I do regret letting one go that had been custom engraved. It was a decent target gun.

The badly fitted floorplate can't be fixed by any inexpensive means. The incorrectly indexed hinge screw is a further sign that the refinish is a hardware store job. Yes, it's good price, but a bad gun. I would have bid more, but the buyer would have kept up with me and won the auction.
