Canadians are fragile and do not like conflict. They like to get along at all costs, ignoring human nature.
Americans are used to competition and rivalry so the odd comment every now and then is water off a ducks back.
Not trying to rouse a response but my opinion as I grew up in Canada
While it is true that the "stereotypical" Canadian is kind, courteous and polite while the "stereotypical" American is arrogant, impudent and inconsiderate, some of the nicest people,e I have known are American and I know plenty of Canadian [censored - come on man!] nozzles. This has nothing to do with country of origin. This is about certain individuals that think they are being clever when in fact they are just looking childish and foolish, which is their prerogative but it ruins the whole experience for many with zero contribution. BTW, as far as Canadians being "fragile", if you knew anything about Canada's military history, you would never even consider making such a claim and regarding the claim that Canadians "don't like conflict", what is wrong with disliking conflict???.
