Actually, if public education would/could deliver on it's promise, there would be "nothing wrong" with it. But, it has been many decades since that was true, and the test scores clearly document that.

No country pays more for public education, and gets less to show for it.

Feel free to prove me wrong.

I'll bet this same sentiment doesn't apply to Liberal sacraments like providing taxpayer dollars to subsidize abortion clinics or funding Liberal propaganda machines like PBS or National Public Radio.

I sure as hell don't want to see my tax dollars funding any public school curriculum that includes woke LGBTQ crap or perverted grooming of kids with shit like transgender story hour. But Liberal Left Democrats have no problem funding that with our taxes.

Last week, I met a couple who are both teachers. The wife, who teaches in a local public high school. commented that the kids she gets who come from either parochial or Jewish elementary schools are much better behaved and much better prepared academically.

Parents who pay school taxes ought to be able to use at least some of those dollars to shop for the best education in a free marketplace, i.e., School Choice. Taxpayers ought to have more control in seeing their taxes get more bang for the buck. We pay more per pupil for public school education than any nation on earth, yet have diminishing test scores.

Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug

What is the cost of an uneducated population? Higher than that of financing a good public education system is my feeling.
