I always wanted a digital electronic scale for weighing shotguns but never took the initiative to order one. Until, about three years ago I had the need for an accurate scale to weigh pistons and rods to balance them before having a high performance 2.5 liter Mercury V-6 built for my Allison boat. I found one that looked like something I could use, on Amazon, and ordered it. It weighs in ounces or grams and has served me extremely well. It runs on batteries or 120V DC. I don't use it much but have never regretted the decision to get it. I don't leave batteries in it, and prefer to plug it in anytime I need it.
