In the 75+ page Dickinson catalog I have showing all Dickinson offerings at the time the catalog was printed (~8 years ago) no "Albion" model is listed, but from the original post by PALUNC it appears the Albion may be a spin-off or another name given by some retailer to Dickinson's Estate model. The Estate model is shown available with an English, Prince of Wales or Pistol Grip, only the straight grip offering is pictured on the Estate pages. No pics of the Prince of Wales or Pistol Grip is shown and no mention if the PG is capped or not.

I found a few of these on line, but they were all in Europe. My thoughts are it was only marketed there sort of like Miroku does and this particular one made it across the pond to us. The one's I found were also 28 gauge and had the capped pistol grip.

I think you're mistaken on this, eeb. Please show a link to the same gun, but SKB. Thanks.

Having just now looked closely at the pics of this gun, I am impressed by the shape and execution of the pistol grip. Very nicely done. The trigger guard tang going all the way back/down to the grip cap is classy.

Both the SKB and the Dickinson are made in the AKUS factory in Turkey.

Maybe we should all contact Dickinson here in the US and ask that they import them here. Wouldn't a 30" 410 be neat?

I agree muchly, Stan. If someone asked me to show them what a perfectly-executed full pistol grip should look like, I would show them the photo of this one. I absolutely love a capped pistol grip, ala Parker Bros. gun on the hay bale photo in another thread. We be simpatico on shootability and comfort/control of a pistol grip double.

They're neat indeed, but nothing new, Mike. All three of these are 30" barreled .410s. From left to right ............ FAIR Verona,, Dickinson Estate and FAIR Iside. Had them for years.
