Bobby Stack went on to become actor Robert Stack. He and Alex Kerr were commissioned as Naval Officers and served as aerial gunnery instructors during WWII. Not 100% sure but I think Kerr headed that unit.

I wish they made shooting sweaters like that today. The last one I had was consumed by moths almost ten years ago at the ranch.

I recall reading somewhere that we seldom see photos of Gary Cooper shooting or hunting because he had to wear glasses. Here are a couple of pictures of Gary Cooper hunting with Papa in Sun Valley from the book High on the Wild with Hemmingway. From 1940 without glasses -- ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/xhvnvTv.jpg) From 1941 with glasses -- ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/7Uib7ye.jpg)

Looking through my copy of Stoeger's 1940 "Shooter's Bible":
Browning offered the Lightning version of their Superposed "with special skeet boring" in both barrels. Marlin made a special Skeetking version of their Model 90 OU in all gauges from 12 down to .410. And Remington, as noted above, offered their Model 32 OU as a skeet gun. 12ga only.

Is that a female with hair that long back then? Also, if female, is that a mustache she/he has??? Not making crude jokes. I may just have a bad picture or bad resolution on my computer. Just wondering.
