Every virus known to man mutates in the same, predictable way. Each new successful strain is more contagious and less lethal. Viruses don't thrive if they kil, their hosts.
Covid is now on par with the flu.
I got a flu shot about 30 years ago from the hospital at work. I was off work for 3 or 4 days from being sick with the flu and I was hallucinating, I was so sick. I really should have gone to a hospital. But once I got well, I've never had the flu again. I don't even geta cold anymore either. And I have refused to get a flu shot. Like you said, there are so many mutations you can't geta flu shot for them all.
