We had a lot fun this last month with a wobble leaque at our township trap club .

It consisted of 50 targets open {any gun }, 50 targets side by side , 50 targets small bore . Two shots allowed on every target .

11 members participated using 31 different shotguns ,the side by sides came out of the wood work .

Some of you may be interested in the guns used .

In the open race
49s were high using a Rem. 3200 ,a Rem. 870 and a K 80 .

In the side by side race
49s were high using a 30" Rem. 94 F trap ,a Miller triggered
32" Parker and a 32" Win. 21 trap.

In the small bore race
48 was high using a 28" Win. 21 - 20 .

The winning scores were 144 .
K 80-48 , Purdey Pigeon-48 , Win 21-20 - 48 =144
K 80-48 , Win 21-12 -49 , Caesar Guerini-28 - 47 =144
Second
Rem 870-49 , Ithaca 4E-47 , Win 23-20 -47 = 143

In all it was a great shoot with 17 side by sides used .

The most poplar guns were , 8 Mod. 21s , 4 K80s , 4 Rems. and 2 Kolars .
If you are not shooting wobble with your side by side you are missing a lot of fun .

If we can pull off the first 'Doubles in the Desert' classic SxS fun shoot next Feb. or March, and it may be at the Tucson Trap and Skeet Club, we're going to have a 2 man 'Pheasant Phlush' station. Two shooters standing on Station 8 of the skeet field, shooting 25 Wobble trap targets as fast as the machine cycles. Discombobulating but great fun!

I wish you guys were closer to Tulsa!! That sounds like a hoot!
Heck, I might try to drum up a shoot at my club!
